Create/Edit Event

3–12 lowercase letters/digits. Required — used for SMS routing (PICK BEL26 7), deep links, and disambiguation when multiple events are live. e.g. kd26, pkns26, bel26, nflw1.

Pool Settings

After this time, no new picks accepted. Defaults to event time if blank. Fixed = same stake on every question. Allocate = players split a budget across bets.
Total must allocate exactly the bankroll. Mobile UI uses +/− buttons in step increments.

After saving, manage horses, questions, and results in the Pool panel.

Multiple events can be featured simultaneously. Each event still routes its own SMS based on event code + type.
Auto-transitions: accepting → locked when picks close, locked → complete when results are saved. You can also flip manually here.

Pool Manager

No pool-type event found. Create an event with type "Pool" in the Event Manager first.

Build the pool before picks lock — the money & timing, the field, the markets, and the race-day lines. Everything saves the instant you change it (look for the “✓ Saved” flash).

Horses

The field. Add each horse with name and morning-line odds. Mark longshots (15:1+).

Bulk import from CSV / paste

Full import: position, name, odds, [longshot] — adds new horses or replaces field.
Odds-only update: position, odds — updates odds on existing horses only, recomputes longshot flag automatically. Use this for race-day odds refreshes.
Comma, tab, or pipe separated. Header row optional. Scratched horses (Status column) are auto-skipped.

Questions

Markets guests pick from. Default Derby set is loaded for new pools — edit, remove, or add as needed.

Over/Under Line

Set the time-over/under line before close. Defaults to 1:58.00. Saves automatically when you click away.

Long Shot Qualifiers

After the 4:30 ET morning line publishes, check every horse listed at 15:1 or longer. Each checkbox saves as you tick it. The Long Shot Top 3 bet hits if any qualifier finishes in the top 3.

After the race, enter the finishing stats here in one place. Standings recompute automatically from the entries.

Results & Standings

Enter the finish order first — it's the key result for the race. Standings are computed from the entries.

Every horse number in order of finish, 1st place to last (comma-separated). In bankroll pools this drives all position-based results — Top 5, Trifecta, Exacta, Long Shot — plus the tiebreaker ladder. Saves when you click away.
